PhD student positions are available in Prof. Yan Wang's group at the Department of Ocean Science, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (OCES/HKUST). Research topics revolve around baroclinic turbulence over topography and eddy-mean flow interactions. Collaborations with UCLA and University of Maryland are warranted. Potential candidates demonstrating academic and research excellence in physical oceanography and scientific computing are encouraged to apply.
